So, the city of Detroit decided to put boulders in all the city parks. Well, I’m pretty sure all of them though I’ve only noticed them in the parks I either go to or pass by on my way to somewhere else.
Anyway, they put them in Eliza Howell park where I go with the critters every day. This is presumably to keep people from driving around inside the park though there hasn’t been much sign of it being a deterrence here. Maybe in the smaller parks though why someone would want to drive their car around in the smaller parks is a bit of a mystery to me.
The boulders sorta kinda look nice. Out of place, maybe, but nice. I guess. If you’ve ever seen my yard you’ll know I’m not much of a landscape connoisseur.
They’re kind of a pain in the nether regions if you walk your dog on a long leash as the dog will inevitably get itself wound around the boulder and you’ll spend time getting it unwound and, as dogs are curious and bound to wonder what you are doing and because you are their human and you are cursing and obviously upset, they will come over to comfort you and try to help which will only get their leash even more tangled around the boulder thereby raising your mood and your blood pressure to dangerous levels which really is not the point of taking a nice walk in the park with your dog.
Whew, that was one long damn sentence.
Anyway, the whole point of this little missive was to mention that Biscuit, for some inexplicable reason, likes to poop ON these boulders.
Yeah, I know, a lot of words for a poop post but hey.
